* Maraluwawa Rajamaha Viharaya which was located in               Maraluwawa on the top of the Andagala rock near to the           Kurunegala twon ( Kurunegala - Ganewatta road )

* History of this temple going as far as king Dutugemunu (161-     131 BC)


* History of this temple wrote in the Andagala copper plate           which was offered by the king Kirth srirajasighe (1747-17   81)


* This copper plate says the this temple has been renovated by     the son of sister of king Dutugemunu, prince Pussadewa.


* After renovation of this temple by price Pussadwa, he invited     king Dutugemunu to show the renovated temple.


* Later this prince Pussadewa become a monk under the               Mahadewa thero and atain the level of arhath.
